I dreamed up the idea for typebaby while on maternity leave from my graphic design business. I kept a sketchbook next to my rocking chair and brainstormed ideas during the wee hours.

typebaby onesies and tees are inspired by a love of typography and kids’ growing personality types. typebaby tees are also made with kids in mind: they are comfy, durable and long-lasting. We encourage hand-me-downs!

Our tees are screen printed in Chicago with kid-safe, lead-free inks or digitally-printed with eco-friendly inks by one of our awesome local vendors. We love collaborating with and supporting local businesses.

  In our mission of spreading good design for kids, we’ve been featured in Crain’s Chicago Business, Red Tricycle, Rookie Moms and HOW Magazine.
